Dreamy here, admin for this site. I’m an artist and writer who works under the name Kitana. Twin Peaks and David Lynch in general hold a very special place in my heart. Revisiting these works throughout my life have allowed me to keep finding new points of interest and inspiration – and comfort, despite the often unsettling subject matter. Coping mechanisms.

This project has been simmering for several years, but I finally decided to take it seriously after the death of David Lynch. Having perused the digital world of fellow Twin Peaks fans for a long time, it felt like the right time to move from spectator to participant in a way that feels meaningful. I also just want this outlet to nerd out and hopefully connect with others.

I would like to use this space to do a few things. One is to showcase the art as it develops. Another is to contribute to conversations and analysis of the series, style, characters, and implications. Yet another is to just have a dedicated space to muse about the creative process in a way that fans of Lynch would understand. I have watched his interviews and felt as if he took words out of my mouth, what it means to live The Art Life. Later this year I’ll also be releasing some merch items inspired by the show like stickers, pins, and shirts.
